Stephen and Amy Capen were appointed as leaders of Seed Faith Ministries in January 2025. Since 2008, they have been actively involved in mission work, with their most recent collaboration beginning in 2019 alongside Seed Faith Ministries. Their dedication to serving in the mission field has been rooted in a desire to remain obedient to the Lord, trusting that His timing would prevail.
In addition to their roles at Seed Faith Ministries, Stephen serves as an Associate Pastor at New Life Christian Center in Yelm, Washington. He contributes to the church community in various capacities, including leading in the worship department. Amy is a lead teacher for the K-4 class at Eagleview Christian School. Previously, they served as youth pastors at New Life Christian Center for nine years.
Stephen and Amy met in college and were married in 2008. They have since welcomed five children into their family and cherish the opportunity to engage in mission work with them.
Their inaugural trip to Uganda has left a lasting impression on their hearts, affirming a specific calling from God to this nation. They are eager to continue the work of Seed Faith Ministries and honor God in their leadership of this vital ministry.
