A word from our founder
In 1995, my late husband and I founded Seed Faith Ministries, which became a recognized non-profit in 1998. From my very first visit to Uganda, I felt a profound calling to serve the country and its people. Guided by the verse James 1:27, I initiated sponsorship programs for children alongside medical and feeding initiatives in local villages.
As the years passed, our ministry’s vision expanded to align with Acts 1:8, allowing us to reach even further. I have had the privilege of serving in various regions of Uganda, responding to the calls I felt from the Lord. In the Mukuno district, our efforts began to flourish, leading to the development of senior care programs that provided support and housing for many elderly individuals.
We acquired property that initially resembled a jungle, which we gradually transformed into a medical clinic and a children’s home to serve the Mityana district. Through my faithfulness to the Lord, Seed Faith Ministries has continued to grow.
Our commitment to ensuring that children receive a quality education inspired the establishment of our child sponsorship program, which remains central to our ministry today. There is no free education for children in Uganda so this program is crucial to educating children and giving them the tools they need to excel in life.
We founded Seed Faith Bible School, which has since graduated numerous students who have emerged as remarkable leaders and pastors in their communities. Additionally, we established Hope and Grace Christian School, which now serves as a beacon of hope, educating children and empowering them to rise above poverty.
My life and compassion have always been the foundation upon which Seed Faith Ministries was built. As the founder and first president, I am committed to ensuring that the values and vision we established will guide the ministry’s growth for years to come.
Additionally, we have supported the establishment of numerous churches in local villages, many of which have become self-sustaining and operate under their own leadership. A few continue to receive support from Seed Faith, and we value our partnership with the local church in Uganda. This collaboration fosters a thriving environment for the gospel, significantly transforming communities.
